• For personal injury cases, I normally charge on a contingency basis.  I charge a higher contingency fee rate for those clients who do not forward the hard costs of their case, such as filing fees and service of process fees.  I agree to forward the hard costs in some cases, but not others based on various factors.  Even if I initially agree to forward costs on a case, I reserve the right to cease forwarding costs on a case based upon various considerations.    

• In some cases, there are statutes that provide for attorney fees if it is necessary to file a lawsuit. 

• For all other cases, my rate is $175.00 - $275.00/hour or an estimated flat fee.  Legal assistant fees range between $65.00 and $95.00/hour.  Legal assistants with a law degree will be billed out at $95.00 - $225.00/hour.    

• Please note that the above-provisions are incomplete general provisions only.  My fee agreements contain additional terms for both attorney and client.
