Back to Stalking Trials
Jennie Clark, with the assistance of her associate lawyer, Marc Schworm, recently won the following case stalking order case at the Oregon Appellate Court on 2/2/2011:
I represented the respondent / Appellant in the above-referenced case. However, I am willing to represent either respondent or appellant, but not both at the same time in the Court of Appeals or at any other time.
Why Appeal a Stalking Order Case? If you do not appeal in timely manner, your case is forever lost. Stalking orders are permanent.
Rates: My rates for appellate work are $175.00/hour at this time. I generally charge a $5,000.00 to $6,000.00 retainer to begin working on appeals.
What
kinds of
appellate
cases do
I
accept?
I will
consider
accepting
any
stalking
appellate
case if
I
determine
that
there
are
issues
that are
relevant
to the
appellate
court.
If you
have a
trial
attorney
that can
refer
the case
to me
and
state
the
relevant
appellate
issues,
I find
this
helpful
when
determining
if I
will
accept
the
case.
What other factors determine whether or not I accept your appellate case? Naturally, there are deadlines involved and I have to determine whether or not I can fit your appeal into my caseload.
